One of my top priorities is to minimize the anxiety of the college application process by breaking it down into manageable pieces and having fun with my students! My approach is direct and honest; I won't sugarcoat things when I lay out realistic expectations for students and their families. I treat my students as adults working towards their first big life decision, and want them to take ownership over the process and be in the driver's seat! But I also want to keep their families fully involved with regular communication and check-ins.
